APPROACH
After graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Ecology, Kate went on to trained with the BBC and work on Radio 4's Today Programme. She has been a communication consultant for over 25 years and delivered courses on how to write, talk, and influence. Her training helps solve real in-house problems and fits an organisations culture and style.
Kate works in corporate settings and parliaments around the world. Training can be given online or in face-to-face groups. Kate delivers keynotes and workshops and facilitated discussions at conferences, bringing diverse groups together. She partners with event organisers, international programmes, public bodies, governments, and businesses looking to improve their teams’ resilience, productivity, mental fitness, and communications. She builds real-life learning experiences and solutions, understands inclusion, wellbeing and the power of learning through fun. Her sessions are dynamic but offer a safe space to participants. Collaboration and group cooperation are key to her approach.
Kate helps governments and international parliaments facilitate more diverse political meetings and can provide support at political conferences for the United Nations and COP. Her current interests include climate change, modern slavery chains, and preventing violence against women and girls.

Kate helps clients ask deeper questions more effectively, to better examine and evaluate what is being said in meetings, reports, and the media. She helps clients scrutinise decisions and plans. Kate also prepares clients for interviews. She helps organisations think more effectively.

Creating clear messaging, plans, and reports is one of Kates other areas of expertise. Everything from writing better emails, briefs, speeches, and marketing materials can be covered in these tailor-made on-site or virtual sessions.
